Binding tight and square, text clean and unmarked.

Color frontispiece reproduced from Howard Russell Butler's stunning view of Earth as seen from the moon, part of a series of paintings he produced decades before man traveled in space. Black-and-white engravings, diagrams, and photographs throughout text. The text is a revision of Charles Augustus Young's 'Manual of Astronomy: A Text-Book'.
