140 pp. Blue cloth, paper spine label. Wallace Stevens's Collected Poems won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1955. This, his first collection of verse, includes 85 poems of varying lengths. It was not immediately popular, and the bulk of the original edition was remaindered, but literary studies published after his death rekindled interest in his work.
