23 1/2 x 19 1/4, image matted to 15 1/4 x 11 3/8. A hand-colored portrait in emulation of Frederick Bartoli's famous image of Cornplanter, who fought on the side of the British during the American Revolution, and helped ensure Seneca neutrality during the Northwest Indian War. Framed by The Sign Shop in Warren, Pennsylvania.
