Cornhill [London]: Jardine & Co., 1830. Chappell, John. Print. Good. Item #2333553
Light stain along one corner, a few minor blemishes to image.
9 1/2 x 11 1/2. Under glass in contemporary frame. Appears to be one of a series of prints commissioned by William Prosser (probably of Bull's Head Brewery in Cornhill, which was taken over by Robert Allen in 1907). The artist, John Chappell, was the successor of Stephen Chappell, a bookseller. John was a publisher, bookseller, and stationer.
