Limited edition, #140 of 500 copies, hand-numbered on colophon. Laid in is a 1934 broadside folded once on the top edge detailing the history of the work, as well as a newspaper article with more background. Faint crease on rear wrapper, wrapper edges lightly toned.

[12 pp.] Printed wrappers, sewn at binding edge. A 1933 reissue of the first completely preserved book printed in German (originally printed December 1454 by Johannes Gutenberg, famous for his early use of moveable type, and more specifically his Bible). This production was coordinated with the 1933 Chicago World's Fair (AKA A Century of Progress International Exposition).
