All plates included. Boards lightly soiled, endpapers toned as if from the presence of a colloquial cover (now absent), ink name on front endpaper, 1 inch closed tear to binding corner of half-title page.
303 pp. Green cloth, red titles over dark green and red illustrations (except on rear board, which is dark green only). Baum believed this was his most well-written book, "nearer to the 'old-fashioned' fairy tale than anything I have yet accomplished." Inspiration for the film The Magic Cloak of Oz.
